Yesterday we went on the booked river cruise on the Chobe River and it was sensational. It was hot at first, then a thunderstorm and Windhoek draught beer cooled us down, which was necessary because we had never seen such herds of elephants before.
Not only on land,
The elephants are also fit in the water. The whole group, from small to large, goes along with them.

A fantastic evening atmosphere on the way back. Now if the food is good...,
What else? The food was good, the night was good and the next morning Toldi announced a game drive for the group. Mr Leo is to drive, he tells us where to go and the rest just have to come along.

No sooner said than done. We drive into the Chobe NP along the waterfront, says Toldi, there are lots of animals there, track: it'll be fine.
Yes, OK, but there are obstacles, elephants standing around. Toldi says we have the right of way, the co-pilot says stop, wait. But you can't wait forever, pachyderms have time, lots of time. 😀.
One goes, three stay. Toldi says: now it's time to drive. He's going to get his way. Contrary to the co-pilot 😂 that could cause trouble.

Enough with elephants, it's time for giraffes.

such beautiful animals and when you drive past 10 or 15 giraffes, it's really great.

But the others are all there too. Here is a beautiful kudu, a five-star lion meal.
The little impalas everywhere.

Of course, the birds, like the marabous here, cannot be missed.

Toldi picked a nice tour for us. He also picked a great place for dinner. A real mascot. 😂😂
