Our journey comes to an end. We leave the beautiful Saint Jean de Luz and drive along the Pyrenees towards the Mediterranean.

We stay the first night at the Canal Du MIDI before continuing on to Carcassonne.

Next stop is Carcassonne with its impressive fortifications. A legitimate UNESCO World Heritage Site.

There are long sandy beaches separated by the sea.

25 percent of French oysters are farmed in the Etang de Thau itself.

Some oyster farmers offer them for consumption directly on site. A delicacy at really reasonable prices.

Kilometers, that goes fast. This is how our blog ends at Etang de Thau. We are happy about everyone who has followed us on our blog, because not all travel days are good days. Sometimes there is excitement about whether something is too risky or not and 58 days, Mr. Leo, are sometimes a tight squeeze 😀.
It's nice when someone reads the blog and gets mental support from home.
